The maize expresses CP4 EPSPS conferring tolerance to the herbicide glycophosate and Dicamba monooxygenase (DMO) and Phosphinothricin N-acetyltransferase (PAT) genes conferring resistance to the herbicides Dicamba and Glufosinate, respectively. It also expresses CRY1A.105, CRY2AB2, and VIP3AA20 for resistance to certain lepidopteran pests such as armyworm, beet armyworm, fall armyworm (Spodoptera sp.), black cutworm (Agrotis ipsilon), european corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis), western bean cutworm, and the corn earworm (Helicoverpa zea).
