Mali’s biosafety framework is founded on the National Biosafety Law and implementing regulations established to implement the Cartagena Protocol. The Competent National Authority coordinates biosafety regulation with technical support from a National Biosafety Committee responsible for scientific risk assessment, environmental assessment and permit recommendations.

and the Field Trials approvals for each crop. The approval’s decisions reported on this site only go back to 2015.
